While our partnerships are diverse, we have three key focuses

Fostering creativity for the next generation

Our young people are our future creatives. We’re invested in nurturing, inspiring and celebrating their work.

Supporting the arts

Wētā Workshop has proudly celebrated the creative industries for over 30 years, with the belief that art makes the world a brighter place.

Caring for our community

We’re committed to the wellbeing of our communities. Investing in what’s important to the people who play pivotal roles in our local area is what’s important to us.

Our partnerships

We consider sponsorship applications that share similar values. If you are interested in support for your organisation or event, please email your proposal to info@wetaworkshop.co.nz

The Little Miracles Trust

The Little Miracles Trust supports the whānau of premature and sick full-term babies while they're in neonatal intensive care, transitioning home and beyond. Wētā Workshop co-founders Richard Taylor and Tania Rodger have been proud supporters of The Little Miracles Trust for over 22 years.

Wellington Hospitals Foundation

The Wellington Hospitals Foundation works to fund medical equipment, resources and services so people in the region can access the healthcare they need. For more than 10 years, our support has included creating murals and interactive spaces to enhance visitors’ wellbeing and the experience of staying in hospital.

Do Some Good

The Vulnerable Support Charitable Trust’s Do Some Good initiative supports families in need. Wētā Workshop has proudly supported food deliveries for the community pātaka at Ōwhiro Bay School, as well as opportunities for our crew to volunteer throughout the year.

World of WearableArt

Wētā Workshop continues to sponsor the Emerging Designer Award at the World of WearableArt Show, a New Zealand arena spectacle that wraps music, dance, aerial arts and storeys-high AV around the world’s premier wearable art competition. Through this partnership, budding creatives can build skills and develop their love of the arts through internships at our workshop.

New Zealand Youth Film Festival

The New Zealand Youth Film Festival is a free-to-enter film festival for 15-24-year-olds. Our support has enabled the festival to continue to celebrate and empower rangatahi youth who are passionate about filmmaking.

Property Masters Guild

Wētā Workshop is an associate member of the Property Masters Guild, an organisation dedicated to supporting Property Masters by showcasing their artistic contributions and championing their success. Wētā Workshop is also proud to be a sponsor of The MacGuffin Awards, an annual event honouring excellence among Property Masters.
