In the television series Altered Carbon, we learn that the Elders, an avian alien species thought to be long dead, is still alive. During the pre-production phase of its second season in late-2018, we worked with producers James Middleton and Alison Schapker, and production designer Carey Meyer to design weapons and visualise the anatomical form, language and cultural development of these bat-like beings.
