In the 2012 film Mad Max: Fury Road, director George Miller delivered non-stop adrenaline-fuelled action set within the beloved Mad Max universe. We imagined what life would be like in a post-apocalyptic world riddled with feuding clans to inform our concept work across the entire world, working closely with Miller and production designer Colin Gibson. Our work on Mad Max: Fury Road included extensive research and development, and physical proof of concept prototyping for the film. One of the more gruesome aspects of the project was developing scarification, keloid and boil prosthetic work, which was gloriously gross.
